Text alerts

Only league members who ask for them. Members join with an invite link from the commissioner and sign in with a code texted to their phone. Signing in doesn't sign anyone up for alerts: they're off until the member ticks this box, either on the join form or later under Profile (shown here as it appears there):

The box starts unticked, and the date and wording each member agreed to are saved. Right after, they get:

Cut Line: You're set up for league texts, about 5-15 a week in season. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.

Draft and pick alerts: a heads-up before a draft, your turn to pick, time running low, and reminders before picks lock. Members can also reply with a golfer's name to make a pick. For example:

• Cut Line: The Greater Detroit Fantasy Golf Tour draft for the Travelers Championship starts at 10:00 AM EDT. Set your queue or follow along: https://fantasy-golf-wheat.vercel.app/greater-detroit/2026
• Cut Line: You're on the clock in the Travelers Championship draft (pick 4) until 11:42 AM EDT. Reply with a golfer's name or pick at https://fantasy-golf-wheat.vercel.app/greater-detroit/2026/draft
• Cut Line: Halfway through your clock: 30 min left on your Travelers Championship pick (until 11:42 AM EDT). https://fantasy-golf-wheat.vercel.app/greater-detroit/2026/draft
• Cut Line: No pick yet for Travelers Championship. Picks lock as each golfer tees off, from Thu 7:40 AM EDT. Pick at https://fantasy-golf-wheat.vercel.app/one-and-done/2026/pick

About 5-15 texts a week during the season, fewer in the off-season. Msg & data rates may apply. No marketing, ever.

Reply STOP to any text to stop them all (or turn them off under Profile). Reply START to turn them back on, and HELP for help.
